What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Manager position at GigaParts?
GigaParts is seeking an individual with IT Management or Service Department Management experience for a big box retail environment. As a Service Manager at GigaParts, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting, launching and managing this extensive IT services program!
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Responsible for the day to day operations, performance and profitability of the Services and Returns Department
· Work to understand product offerings through collaboration with our Product Development Department, Store Manager and Executive team
· Key leader in managing the returns process for both E-Comm and In-Store purchasing. Process all returns and work with Procurement Department on setting open-box pricing to generate profitability of used Technology Product lines
· Ensure our pricing remains competitive and accurately reflects market trends
· Leverage customer feedback and shopping behavior to identify products for the department; identify business opportunities and risks
· Ensure proper asset and inventory controls are in place
· Inspect merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed by the sales team
· Manage the rental/return process; minimize wait time and promote fast, friendly service
· Perform customer service duties on an as-needed basis
· Support recruitment, training, development and scheduling of Rentals, Service and Returns team within the store
· Conduct regular inventory, manage and reconcile discrepancies
· Develop a thorough understanding of GigaParts’ policies, procedures and rules
· Create a positive customer experience
· All other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Three years of related consumer IT Management experience
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of both desk work and walking, lifting and squatting
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
· Full-time: Must be willing to have a flexible schedule as needed, ability to work Saturdaysss and success

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
