Gilmour seeks a full-time Spanish Instructor for grades 7 through 12 with whom Gilmour’s mission and vision resonate. We are seeking an experienced educator with a strong educational background, exemplary teaching skills, a commitment to facilitating the growth of each student, and a desire for ongoing professional collaboration and growth. Successful candidates will have energy, enthusiasm, and experience in teaching all levels of Spanish. In addition to expressing enthusiasm and aptitude for classroom teaching, excellent candidates will:
Excellent command of the Spanish language
Has previous teaching experience in secondary schools and applicable certifications
Think creatively and progressively about instruction and pedagogy in language acquisition
Have the ability to produce significant gains in student outcomes.
Be enthusiastic about educating young people in the Holy Cross tradition.
Desire to work meaningfully with colleagues in professional development, with a focus on integrating instructional technologies across academic disciplines and divisions.
