Who You Are:
We are looking for a packaging designer to join our legwear team. This is a great opportunity for those looking to grow within a company and to learn about accessories packaging. This position offers both creative freedom as well as behind-the-scenes logistics. Must have worked in clothing in apparel accessories industry!
What You'll Do:
Duties/Responsibilities:
-communicate with China to the extent of submitting artwork to them and receiving proofs in return to approve
-understanding die cuts and measurements to best fit the product to the packaging
-taking existing packaging and updating verbiage to better suit product
-coming up with new ways to package product through market research and trend
-working with sales on specific accounts to improve product representation
-working solely in Illustrator for all packaging artwork with minor photo editing in Photoshop
-offering new ideas in gift boxes and trending concepts to drive sales
What You Bring:

-Bachelor’s Degree
-1-3 years of experience preferably in accessories or apparel
-excellent time management skills
-strong project management skills
-creative edge and innovative eye
-positive team player
-organization skills
-strong attention to detail (text alignment, font consistency, applying masks, etc)
-ability to work in fast paced and deadline driven environment
