Ginger Cove is currently seeking a Housekeeper (On-call / PRN, every other weekend) to support our Environmental Services Department.

The Housekeeper is responsible for working in accordance with established policies and procedures and / or specific instructions from the Director of Environmental Services or Housekeeping Supervisor.

Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the residential units and common areas to ascertain a safe environment.

Essential Functions :

• Ensure that the attainment of Ginger Cove Mission Statement takes precedence over all decisions and actions.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the apartments, such as, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
• Perform general housekeeping duties of hall ways, lobbies, and core areas.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Participate in all drills and in-service meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications :

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the state of Maryland
• At least one years housekeeping / environmental services experience is preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Must have completed or be willing to complete educational requirements imposed by State regulations within the specified timeframe.
• Must present self in a professional manner, display genuine concern for elderly, and tact in dealing with others.
