Description

JOB SUMMARY

Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta is looking for a talented IT professional with experience across various devices: Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, iPhones, and iPads. This individual will work with multiple vendor portals for user provisioning and account management. This individual must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be willing to provide high-quality support and service across Greater Atlanta, including Northwest Georgias 34-county region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Helpdesk:

  • Perform password reset for various systems utilized by Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta.
  • Accurately record and classify all incoming incidents with the appropriate priority, category, and summary of actions to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Submit warranty repair or replacement for devices.
  • Escalate unresolved problems promptly to the appropriate resource on a case-by-case basis.
  • Act as a primary point of contact between the organization and applicable service providers/vendors.
  • First contact for user issues, takes ownership of the incident until a final resolution is attained.
  • Support and manage the print environment, including networked copiers and printers.
  • Assistance employees in using conference room audio-video systems.

Provisioning and Management

  • New hire provisioning (and departing employee off-boarding) of accounts, equipment, and software licensing.
  • Reimage new and recovered laptops, tablets and desktop devices using established processes.
  • Provision and support desktop VoIP phones (cloud solution) and iOS mobile devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware incidents encountered during the provisioning process.
  • Provide a how-to overview to new employees upon the employees first day.
  • Record, track, and maintain equipment inventories of IT assets, including managed devices and software.
  • Ensure devices are adequately maintained, i.e., up-to-date drivers, endpoint security and policies, etc.

Other Responsibilities

  • Maintains necessary technical skills to interact with IT resources and Employees effectively.
  • Position requires travel within the councils 34 county jurisdiction, estimated at 15%.
  • Occasional weekend work will be required.
  • End-user training
  • Other duties may be assigned.

  • Strong logical thinker and detail-oriented problem solver.
  • Ability and flexibility to adapt to fast-paced, changing situations, manage time effectively, multi-task, and work independently to achieve results.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with using desktop or laptop computers, cellular devices, and printers.
  • Attained industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA (A , Network , Security ), etc.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Eager to learn new skills quickly and apply them immediately.
  • Attained Associate's degree or has equivalent work experience.
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, and climb stairs and ladders.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be a licensed driver, have a reliable vehicle, and be insurable by the council.

*Must successfully complete a criminal, motor vehicle, and credit background check.

Salary : $41,900 - $53,100
