We are adding to our team of part-time Membership Recruitment Specialists to market Girl Scouts in assigned geographical areas within Northeast Ohio, as well as lead scripted troop formation events to engage and recruit new girl and adult members.
Membership Recruitment Specialist - $20.00 per hour plus mileage, Up to 20 hours per week as needed.
Macedonia Based (work in your local territory throughout NE Ohio)-this position focuses on in-person events in your community!
The Membership Recruitment Specialist is a part-time employee, responsible for positively representing the Girl Scout brand. The Specialist implements effective marketing and recruiting strategies to increase awareness and participation in Girl Scouting through scripted in-person presentations, leading troop formation events at schools, faith-based institutions, and libraries within their assigned territory/area.
Requirements: Experience in outside sales, recruiting, retail, or public relations is helpful but not required. Must be willing to develop public speaking and presentation skills. Strong human relations skills such as leadership, relationship-building, and interacting with young children are helpful. Flexible schedule could include days. Most events are early evenings Monday through Thursday, with local travel in your territory. Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office. Commitment to inclusiveness.
