We’re looking for a Program Manager to join our team! This position is responsible for developing and managing council wide events that support the national leadership curriculum for all girls.

Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours per week) with flexibility Salary: $35,568/year to start, exempt

 Are excited to be actively involved in giving girls the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values to become leaders in their own lives and their communities.

Interested? Responsibilities would include: 

Use knowledge of the GSLE to develop, manage and deliver quality programs that meet the needs and interests of girl members throughout the council’s jurisdiction

 Mobilizes and supports community partners, topic experts, field trip providers/sites, etc. to enhance event programs with local resources that address current and relevant trends and issues affecting girls

 Oversees all events associated components to include program costs, grant implementation, paid facilitator delivery, and risk management

 On-boarding and vetting for prospective partnerships and collaborations

Are these skills you could share with our team?

 Knowledge of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (national program portfolio, outcomes, processes, etc.)

 Strong interpersonal skills: ability to cultivate, motivate and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers and staff from diverse backgrounds

 Ability to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week; some weekends and evenings required

 Minimum of 1-2 years related work experience. 3 years or more of experience preferred

 Strong communication skills—listening as well as written & verbal communication—and ability to communicate with persons of diverse backgrounds

 High School Diploma or equivalent required
