What will you be doing?
As our Human Resources Associate, you will be responsible for performing confidential administrative work for the Vice President of Human Resources, recruiting for seasonal summer camp staff and part-time positions, and completing special projects. This work supports the professionals that are building girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place; how great is that?!
Every day will be different, and you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of systems including applicant tracking, learning management, benefits enrollment and performance management. Every week, you will meet with your supervisor to discuss priorities which could range from coordinating the onboarding and offboarding process to advertising open positions, and from creating AdobeSign templates to researching professional development opportunities for team members. Every month, you will process benefits bills and manage the electronic filing process. Each year, you will manage the summer camp hiring process, support open enrollment, and help plan and staff special events like our Annual Retreat and Holiday Party! To thrive in this role, you must have a great attitude, love to learn, and be confidential, detail-oriented, efficient, and tech savvy.
The Human Resources Associate reports to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Who are we seeking?
A Human Resources Associate who is organized, detail-oriented and possesses excellent time management skills who can plan, organize, prioritize - and then reprioritize work to successfully meet multiple deadlines. A tech-savvy candidate who is comfortable working with a variety of systems and software, at an organization that is transitioning to a paperless environment. A Human Resources Associate who has the ability to work independently within a collaborative environment. Someone with strong communication skills that knows when to ask for help or escalate issues for resolution.
What else will you need?
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and the ability to pass a Level 2 background check and maintain eligibility for employment while employed is required. Three years' recent, relevant experience; APHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certifications; and the ability to type 40 words per minute with at least 90% accuracy is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of applicant tracking, performance management, learning management, human resources information or similar systems and bilingual skills (Spanish or French) are preferred.

The hiring range for this position is $20.18 - $22.25 per hour.
