Description
Camp St. Albans covers 414 wooded acres with over five miles of trails, all surrounding beautiful Lake Devereaux. The property is known for its unique Viking Boats and the gnomes that inhabit the camp. Our site primarily focuses on traditional camp activities such as arts and crafts, archery, swimming, and boating. Campers can choose from a variety of creative programs including outdoor survival skills, space discovery, and woodworking.
Unit Counselors play a key role in the camp program by being the primary caregivers for campers in their assigned groups. Unit Counselors are responsible for delivering program activities based on the weekly program description and can work with various age levels.
The full pay range for this position is $100 - $110 per day, with the starting rate dependent on previous employment at GSWW camps. This seasonal position will be from June 15th to August 17th, 2025.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Care and supervision of campers in assigned program session including overnight responsibilities and support in specialized program areas
- Plans and facilitates weekly program schedule for assigned program session meeting the theme, promoted activities, and camper outcomes
- Follow and uphold Girl Scouts of Western Washington policies and procedures to ensure a physically and mentally safe camp environment
- Support and participate in the implementation of all camp activities such as meals, all camp games, campfires, etc.
- Carry out established duties for general camp operations including check-in and check-out, bus supervision, camp cleaning, season opening and closing tasks, and completion of necessary paperwork
