Are you passionate about empowering girls to be strong, smart, and bold? Join Girls Inc. of Wayne County as a Program Lead, where you'll design and lead engaging programs that inspire girls to build confidence, explore new ideas, and reach their full potential.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead fun and educational afterschool and summer programs for girls in K-10th grade
- Serve as a positive role model, fostering a safe, supportive environment that promotes leadership, respect, and healthy relationships.
- Create and implement lessons that reflect Girls Inc.’s mission across a variety of topics.
- Plan, organize, and facilitate activities that encourage skill-building and personal growth.
- Collaborate with schools, families, and community partners to ensure impactful programming.
- Maintain program spaces, ensuring a clean, safe environment for girls to thrive.
- Assist with data collection, evaluation, and storytelling of program successes.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with youth, or pursuing a degree in education, child development, social work, or a related field a plus!
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for empowering girls.
- Flexibility to work in diverse settings and with different ages
- A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be available between the hours of 1:00-6:00 pm (with some fluctuation), Monday-Friday

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
