Are you passionate about empowering girls to be strong, smart, and bold? Join Girls Inc. of Wayne County as a Program Lead, where you'll design and lead engaging programs that inspire girls to build confidence, explore new ideas, and reach their full potential.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead fun and educational afterschool and summer programs for girls in K-10th grade
  • Serve as a positive role model, fostering a safe, supportive environment that promotes leadership, respect, and healthy relationships.
  • Create and implement lessons that reflect Girls Inc.’s mission across a variety of topics.
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate activities that encourage skill-building and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with schools, families, and community partners to ensure impactful programming.
  • Maintain program spaces, ensuring a clean, safe environment for girls to thrive.
  • Assist with data collection, evaluation, and storytelling of program successes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with youth, or pursuing a degree in education, child development, social work, or a related field a plus!
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for empowering girls.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse settings and with different ages
  • A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must be available between the hours of 1:00-6:00 pm (with some fluctuation), Monday-Friday

Job Type: Part-time, 20-29 hours per week

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

  • Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • First Aid Certification (Preferred)
  • CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Richmond, IN 47374 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Richmond, IN 47374: Relocate before starting work (Required)
