Give to Africa, a United States–based nonprofit organization, is seeking a Partnerships Associate to support the growth and adoption of Yendaa, our online fintech-enabled digital fundraising platform designed to serve African NGOs, while also advancing Give to Africa’s broader partnership and program goals across the continent.
This role is ideal for a professional who is comfortable working across technology, partnerships, and public-facing engagement. The position integrates partnership development, NGO recruitment, sales execution, digital platform onboarding, training, and communications, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the African NGO ecosystem, demonstrate the ability to meet recruitment and partnership targets, and work confidently across multiple functions, including stakeholder engagement, capacity building, and platform-driven growth.
This is a full-time, performance-driven role that plays a critical part in expanding Yendaa’s adoption while strengthening Give to Africa’s partnerships and impact across Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development & NGO Recruitment
- Recruit, onboard, and support African NGOs on the Yendaa platform - Meet monthly and quarterly recruitment and engagement targets -
- Conduct outreach, presentations, follow-ups, and onboarding sessions - Build and manage a pipeline of NGO partners across multiple African countries -
- Clearly communicate the value of Yendaa to NGOs, partners, and stakeholders
Sales & Growth Execution-
- Apply sales and business development skills to convert prospects into active platform users - Track outreach, conversions, and performance metrics -
- Maintain strong relationships with onboarded NGOs to ensure active platform use
Platform Training & Capacity Building -
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions (virtual and live) for NGOs using Yendaa - Support NGOs with profile setup, campaign creation, and fundraising tools - Troubleshoot basic platform and user issues and escalate as needed
Digital Communications & Social Media
- - Manage social media accounts for Give to Africa and Yendaa - Design digital content using Canva and Adobe Photoshop (required) -
- Host and participate in live sessions (LinkedIn Live, Instagram Live, Youtube live, webinars) - Support digital campaigns that drive NGO recruitment and engagement
Website & IT Support -
- Update and manage organizational websites using WordPress (required) -
- Upload content, manage pages and forms, and handle basic technical troubleshooting - Coordinate with developers or designers for advanced technical needs *
Meetings, Coordination & Language Support -
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with NGOs, partners, and stakeholders - Support bilingual engagement (English and French required) *
- *Fiscal Sponsorship Program Support - Support onboarding and coordination of NGOs within the Fiscal Sponsorship Program - Assist with communications, documentation tracking, and partner coordination
Required Qualifications -
Based in Africa
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (business, communications, development, technology, or related discipline)
- 3–5 years of proven experience in partnerships, sales, business development, or NGO program growth
- Demonstrated ability to meet recruitment, partnership, or performance targets
- Strong understanding of the African NGO and civil society ecosystem
- Technical proficiency with WordPress (required)
- Design skills using Canva and Adobe Photoshop (required)
- Fluent in English and French (spoken and written)
- Comfortable with public speaking, hosting live online sessions, and facilitating virtual trainings
- Experience managing social media platforms for outreach, engagement, or growth
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Experience -
- Experience with fundraising platforms, SaaS tools, or digital products - Background in nonprofit management, partnerships, or development -
- Familiarity with CRM tools, email marketing, and basic analytics *
