Role Overview:
We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to provide deep expertise and experience to help us enhance our fundraising efforts and overall impact. We need an expert to assess our current brand and marketing strategies and develop agile organizational systems that accommodate our volunteer rotation. This role is crucial for ensuring our message is clear, compelling, and consistent across all platforms and for all stakeholders. You will work closely with the Marketing Lead to execute tactical initiatives while focusing on strategic system building and setting the data analytics necessary for informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
1) Assessment & Analysis:
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of GTTW’s current brand and marketing strategies.
- Analyze our current marketing materials, digital presence, and outreach efforts to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
2)Strategy Development:
- Develop a robust, cohesive branding and marketing strategy aligned with GTTW’s mission and goals.
- Create a roadmap for enhancing brand visibility and credibility, particularly focusing on fundraising.
- Set up data analytics systems to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and make informed strategic decisions.
3)System Development:
- Design and implement agile marketing systems that can be easily managed and updated by rotating volunteers.
- Develop templates, guidelines, and training materials to ensure consistency in brand messaging and marketing efforts.
4)Implementation & Training:
- Oversee the implementation of new branding and marketing initiatives.
- Train volunteers on new systems, tools, and processes to ensure smooth transitions and ongoing management.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteer teams as needed.
5)Collaboration:
- Work closely with the leadership team, including the CEO and COO, to align marketing strategies with organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to execute tactical marketing initiatives.
- Work with fundraising teams to create compelling campaigns and materials that drive donations.
Qualifications:
- The candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Relevant Education and Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies and systems.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, volunteer-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools to measure and inform strategic decisions.
- Passion for humanitarian work and commitment to GTTW’s mission.
Time Commitment:
- 2-4 hours a week, with flexible scheduling.
