Position Overview

We are currently seeking two experienced Production Supervisors to join a well-established food manufacturing company in Coconut Creek, FL. These are direct hire opportunities offering stability, growth potential, and the chance to lead night shift operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

The ideal candidates for the Production Supervisor role will have a strong background in food production or food manufacturing along with excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and develop frontline staff, ensure safety compliance, and drive production performance.

Production Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all night shift production activities to ensure timely and efficient operations.
• Ensure consistent and punctual attendance; report to work fit for duty and maintain readiness throughout the shift.
• Verify completion of pre-production checklists and oversee proper start-up procedures.
• Train and mentor Leads and Operators to meet quality and delivery standards.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety and quality standards, including SQF, GMP, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accountability for shift performance, including production scheduling, efficiency, and minimizing downtime and waste.
• Complete administrative duties such as performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, downtime tracking, and production reporting.
• Investigate and resolve operational, maintenance, and personnel issues.
• Foster a respectful, team-oriented work culture that values employee input.
• Present production data and insights to the Production Manager and senior leadership.
• Ensure accurate and timely data collection across all key metrics (breakdowns, short stops, test times, cleaning times, output rates, etc.).
• Take full operational responsibility during the absence of senior management.
• Ensure all packaging lines and equipment are running according to standards and production targets.
