Glacier Health and Development Center offers outpatient counseling, coaching, and program development support to a diverse population, as well as psychological research for the improvement of mental health services nationally and abroad. Driven by a passion for improvement and social justice, Glacier is currently developing a workforce of skilled professionals to expand the access to mental health services within the state of Virginia.

We want to serve clients who haven't otherwise been able to find the right fit for therapy, who don't fit the mold of other practices, who may have barriers to getting to an office for therapy, and who might be looking to avoid the stigma associated with receiving therapy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide psychotherapy in 60 minute increments to adults, children, families, couples, and groups in-person or via HIPAA compliant telehealth platforms
- Complete assessments and evaluations
- Complete treatment plans and progress tracking documentation
- Attend weekly supervision meetings with on-site supervisor
- Attend bi-weekly staff meetings
- Provide support for assessment administration and observation
- Provide support for administrative and intake team
Requirements:
- Current enrollment in a CACREP accredited counseling program
- Ability to commute to work
- Reliable internet connection for virtual work
- Ability to obtain liability insurance
- Ability to obtain QMHP-T/A/C license with Virginia Board of Counseling
