Job overview
This job is mostly a 60% driver role, must be present 5 days a week, 7:00 AM- 5:00pm.
Know basic towing and loading safety.
Pick up material and drive back to site.
The truck and trailer stay at the shop in Lenoir city, employee must have their own transportion to and from the shop

Core Duties1️ Driving & Equipment Transport
- Daily Drive a 2500 Dodge truck and 14 ft trailer under the direction of the landscape foreman.
- Drive company trucks to and from job sites
2️ Jobsite Setup & Support
- Assist with daily jobsite setup and breakdown
- Stage materials and tools as directed by the foreman
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Assist with measuring, marking, and layout tasks
3️ Hands-On Labor
- Perform general landscaping and hardscape labor including:
- Digging, grading, and hauling materials
- Base prep and compaction
- Assisting with paver, wall, sod, or planting installation
- Spreading gravel, soil, mulch, or stone
- Use hand tools and small equipment safely and efficiently
4️ Equipment Assistance
- Assist with operation of equipment under supervision
- Spot equipment operators and help maintain safe zones
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment at the end of each day
- Log missing tools each Friday
5️ Teamwork & Communication
- Follow instructions from the foreman and crew leaders
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members
- Ask questions when unsure and take direction well
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Assist with towing and positioning trailers when required
- Help load, secure, and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fuel, tires, lights, tie-downs)
- Follow all safety and DOT driving practices
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
