Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly reconciliation process and month end close
• Reviewing and maintaining accounts receivable
• Correspond with customers regarding accounts receivable balance
• Reviewing and maintaining accounts payable
• Invoicing: Preparation of Pro-Forma & Final Invoicing based upon commodity hedges
• Record general journal entries
• Reviewing and preparing sale documents including contract & invoices
• Credit card reconciliation
• Other accounting or office duties as assigned
• Multitask to complete items within different divisions of the organization
• General Requirements:
• Candidate must have 2 years minimum accounting experience
• 2 year degree in accounting is preferred
• Candidate preferably has work experience with NetSuite
• Proficient in Excel, Word, & Outlook (Microsoft Suite) Daily Use Tools
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to follow directions and ask for help when needed
• Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal oversight

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
