What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant position at Glen-Ella Springs Inn & Restaurant?
Must work weekends and holidays. Background check required.
We are open 7 days a week and we are seeking a dedicated housekeeper to join our company. You will perform a variety of housekeeping duties including vacuuming, mopping, surface cleaning, dusting, changing and laundering linens.
Housekeeper Duties/Responsibilities
- Clean, scrub & disinfect all surfaces including guest room sinks, bathtubs, showers and toilets.
- Change sheets, blankets and towels in guest rooms.
- Dust and polish furniture, sweep and mop guest room floors, lobby and hospitality room and porches.
- Inventory and restock cleaning supplies and guest amenities.
- Dispose of trash from guest rooms, laundry room, lobby offices and bathrooms.
- Launder and fold linens, towels and robes. Launder and iron restaurant linens.
- Report repairs and replacement items needed in guest rooms when encountered.
Housekeeper Requirements and Qualifications
- Physical strength and stamina to walk up and down stairs.
- Ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds.
- Physically able to to reach, stretch, bend and walk during daily routine.
- Pay attention to detail when cleaning.
- Ability to assist guests when needed.
- Organized and able to follow a schedule.
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
- Must be a team player

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
