Cafe Attendant Employer: Glen Ellyn Public Library – County: DuPage
Hours: 10-18 hours per week in the evening and on weekends
Salary: Starting salary $15 per hour DOQ
Position Description: If you like to have fun and are energetic, The Cafe at the Glen Ellyn Public Library is the place for you! Glen Ellyn Public Library is looking for an organized, service-oriented individual to perform selected cafe attendant duties.
Cafe Attendant responsibilities include warmly greeting visitors, preparing and serving food and beverages, operating the cash register and POS system, and maintaining a clean work environment.
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to use industry equipment
- Knowledge of health and safety requirements
- Effective verbal communications skills, in English
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at one time
- Good listening skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to organize work
- Friendliness and competence
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Successful completion of two years of high school or demonstrated equivalent
- 16 years old
