Glendo is seeking a Design Engineer to help develop tools and equipment for the jewelry and engraving arts. This role goes beyond desk work—engineers at Glendo are actively involved in hands-on prototyping and testing. You’ll have the opportunity to see your ideas move quickly from concept to production, without the red tape often found in larger organizations.

Responsibilities:
- All aspects of new product development, including requirements definition, concepting, detailed design, prototyping, and validation.
- Collaborate with other company departments, suppliers, and expert users.
- Investigate and resolve problems with current products.
- Create and maintain CAD models and manufacturing drawings.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS, AAS, or Technology degree in engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Basic understanding of pneumatic and electrical systems
- Experience with CAD software
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications
- Self-starter, takes ownership of projects
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Desire to learn
- Sense of urgency
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in design, manufacturing, or related field
- Experience with CNC machining
- Experience with SOLIDWORKS
