The Nurse is charged with the responsibility to act in the capacity of leadership on a unit under the direction of the Director of Nursing. The nurse is responsible for the health care needs of the residents and for the supervision or monitoring of the nursing assistants on his/her unit. We have a great team based atmosphere. Nature of Position
1. The Charge Nurse provides professional nursing care consistent with an individual philosophy following
the philosophy, policy, and procedures of the Glenwood Village Care Center and the standards of gerontological
nursing practice.
2. The Charge Nurse is charged with the responsibility to act in the capacity of leadership on a unit under the
direction of the Director of Nursing The charge nurse is responsible for the healthcare needs of the residents
and for the supervision or monitoring of the nursing assistants on his / her unit.
3. Blood Exposure Risk Category is Category I
