Description
General Definition:
- Responsible for the promotion of positive customer relations by greeting and providing a full range of informational services to patrons upon entry and through the duration of their stay.
Essential Job Functions:
- Greets all customers to the facility, or any other designated area where customer entry or patronage is required.
- Escorts patrons to seats and maintains cleanliness of all seating areas.
- Furnishes information (both printed and verbal) regarding all customer-related services provided throughout the facility.
- Provides direction to groups scheduled for specific events regarding all informational services and products.
- Approaches all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
- Monitors guests for problems and reports any such findings to Department Manager or Supervisor.
- Maintains and completes all opening /closing duties according to the procedures set forth within the department.
- Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled.
- Have the ability to accomplish a multitude of duties as assigned
- Develops and maintains forms for Admissions and Reservations Clerks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Training:
- High school diploma or GED
- No prior experience or training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Requires excellent communication skills, basic math and reasoning ability under extreme public scrutiny.
- Excellent customer service and cash handling skills preferred.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English and to follow instructions as given.
- Bilingual a plus.
Training:
- Responsible Gaming
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency if applicable to perform the essential job functions
