GNR has been retained by a 50 yr old parts distribution organization in need of an “On-site” PROCUREMENT MANAGER for their Los Angeles division.
This aggressively growing organization provides Raw Materials, Electronics, Chemicals & Hardware parts to a variety of industries across the globe : CNC Machining, OEM’s, Commercial Aviation, Aerospace, Defense / Military customers and more!
We're looking for an ambitious PROCUREMENT MANAGER that can :
- Reporting to the VP Operations, you would lead, grow and mentor a small team of buyers for this site
- Analyze all Procurement & Buying data to optimize output, margins and growth
- Build out inventory / stock-on-hand & update all processes and procedures
- Forecast demand planning and procurement strategies to ensure all materials are available to complete customer orders
- Evaluate and manage 500 supplier relationships , negotiate contracts, analyze & develop cost cutting strategies
