As a Platform Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade API and event-driven integration platforms. You will work across cloud and on-premise environments, managing Boomi and Azure API ecosystems to deliver scalable and reliable solutions. This role requires a mix of hands-on technical expertise, troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and project leadership.

• Act as the escalation point for complex integration and API management issues across Azure, Boomi, and various messaging/queuing platforms.

• Design, configure, and support API management systems and event-driven architectures.

• Lead resolution efforts for API/integration outages, providing expert triage and troubleshooting.

• Drive the design and execution of API and integration-related project workstreams.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Ansible.

• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, application development, and business teams to align integration efforts with organizational goals.

• Continuously monitor and enhance the integration ecosystem using analytics and performance data.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and developers, translating complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.

• Actively contribute to the advancement of the companys integration strategy and roadmap.

• Ensure adherence to ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management.

• Design, implement, and manage complex, hybrid integration solutions.

• Stay current with emerging technologies in APIs, containerization, virtualization, and automation tools.

• 5 years of experience in API management, integration development, or related IT fields.

• Proven expertise in:

  • Integration technologies (Boomi integrations and runtimes)

  • API management systems (Azure & Boomi API Gateway)

  • Event-driven/messaging systems (REST, SOAP, queues)

  • CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and automation (DevOps, Terraform, Ansible)

• Experience supporting and maintaining hybrid cloud/on-prem integration platforms.

• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and project leadership skills.

• Solid understanding of authentication protocols like OAuth and data architecture principles.

• Familiarity with ITIL processes and stakeholder engagement in enterprise environments.

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

• Boomi Runtime Administration and Advanced Integration Development certifications.

• Microsoft Azure Developer Associate or equivalent API certification.

• Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.

• Regular attendance and the ability to work across time zones with distributed teams.

• Occasional travel to other corporate sites may be required.
