Job Summary:
Global Technology Associates is seeking an OSP Inspector II to ensure that client facilities meet current standards through inspections and corrections performed by contractors. The ideal candidate will have OSHA30 Construction certification and experience performing NESC inspections or working on aerial cable line crews.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with OSP construction standards
* Document findings electronically and communicate via email and cellular phone
* Perform manual inspections when necessary using printed spreadsheets and mapping/GPS technology
Requirements:
* OSHA30 Construction certification
* Previous experience with NESC inspections or aerial cable line crews
* Familiarity with OSP construction standards and the National Electric Safety Code
* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows XP, Excel 2003 or newer, and Outlook
* Experience with mapping tools such as Microsoft MapPoint 2009 or newer preferred
