Requirements

GLP Attorneys, P.S., Inc. is seeking to expand our team with a Community Engagement Coordinator to support our North Washington Region, primarily based in our Burlington, WA office.

This role will assist in creating and implementing the regional marketing plan, including but not limited to coordinating referral relationships, communications, collateral, and event planning.

In This Position, You Will

  • Coordinate attorney community engagement activities for all attorneys in the region, including healthcare provider connections, other attorney connections, and involvement in local and regional organizations and associations.
  • Identify, create, and maintain referral relationships through direct marketing efforts with healthcare providers, other attorneys, and key community members.
  • Research and develop new relationships.
  • Observe competitive landscape and market trends by territory and communicate to regional leadership and the Executive Director of Marketing & Business Development.
  • Support the Executive Director of Marketing and Business Development in establishing and evaluating regional marketing strategies.
  • Communicate and oversee the execution of marketing initiatives in the territory.
  • Assemble, maintain, and analyze client referral data.
  • Provide weekly status updates on new clients, pending clients, declined clients, and disbursed cases.
  • Host seminars and other professional events in their territory.
  • Attend conventions, conferences, trade shows and events as assigned.
  • Maintain effective communication with regional managing shareholder(s).
  • Maintain an inventory of marketing materials, ensuring all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed.

Qualified Candidates Should Have Experience Including

  • Minimum 3-5 year of marketing, business development, or related experience, preferably in a legal or professional services setting.
  • Preference given to candidates with a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Willing to work in a role that is exclusively community outreach and has a proven track record of successful relationship-building and community engagement.
  • Experience coordinating and organizing professional events, seminars, and conventions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with leadership and executing regional marketing strategies.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize various projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • This role requires significant travel. Candidate must have a valid driver license and a good driving record.
  • Positive and outgoing personality.

GLP Attorneys determines the compensation for positions using local, national, and industry-specific data. We evaluate external equity and the cost of labor/prevailing wages in the relative marketplace for jobs directly comparable to jobs within our firm. For new hires, we strive to make competitive offers allowing the new employee room for future growth. Compensation will be based on the applicant's location, level of experience, education, and specialized knowledge and skills. An employee/candidate with a stronger skill set will receive higher pay.

The hourly base pay range for a non-exempt Community Engagement Coordinator in North Washington is $22.00-$26.00.

GLP Attorneys proudly offers a competitive total rewards package. In addition to the base rate, the firm provides employees with vision, dental, medical/rx insurance (with the option to open a health savings account), life insurance, a firm-sponsored employee assistance program, and a 401(k)-retirement plan with a discretionary safe harbor and profit-sharing feature. GLP Attorneys sponsors 100% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the HSA preferred medical plan ($3k deductible), 75% for the base plan ($1k deductible), and 75% for the buy-up plan ($750 deductible). The firm sponsors 25% of all medical dependent coverage. GLP Attorneys sponsors 75% of the employee premium for those enrolled on the vision plan and 25% for those enrolled on a dental plan. Employees are responsible for the premiums for dependent coverage on the vision and dental plans.

Additionally, GLP Attorneys offers employees ten vacation days a year to relax and refresh, a floating birthday holiday, eight paid holidays a year a flexible holiday, firm-sponsored paid “bonus days”, opportunities to support the community through the firm’s GL“U”P giving program, luncheons and regional celebrations, a GLP Get Movin’ wellness program, the opportunity to participate in committees such as the Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, a monthly public transportation and parking subsidy, continued education/tuition reimbursement benefits, paid parental leave, anniversary bonuses, flexible and hybrid work schedules, and a collaborative, supportive and team-driven environment.
