Scheduler Job Description
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, this position will be responsible to assist in creating accurate scheduling of qualified caregivers based on all new and current clients and making sure the schedules are confirmed.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Schedule staff in a manner that maximizes employee utilization and minimizes overtime.
- Assist with on-call cycle services after hours, on weekends and holidays to support staff and clients.
- Assist matching caregiver’s availability and qualifications to client’s needs.
- Assist with tracking staff attendance to ensure caregivers are properly clocking in and out of their scheduled shifts.
- Document all communication with caregivers and clients.
- Verify caregivers are following company policies and procedures.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Managing rescheduling of client sessions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Publisher and home care scheduling software.
- Must be able to maintain a good work environment and work as a team.
- Attention to detail, data entry, scheduling and maintain proper filing.
- Must be flexible and willing to work in a busy environment.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Requirements:
- Two-years clerical related experience
- High School Diploma
- Valid California Driver license, with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
