What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Development Manager position at GoDaddy?
Location Details:
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
What you'll get to do...
- Envision, design, and build the best-in-class identity platform in collaboration with Product and Design.
- Drive technical / operational excellence, and timely delivery in an agile and production critical environment.
- Inspire, mentor, and provide technology leadership to a team of engineers, and play a key role in attracting and retaining top engineering talent.
Your experience should include...
- 4 years of experience in software engineering role, building large-scale applications and solutions
- Strong development experience in Java
- 1 years of management experience
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Leading a team of engineers – either directly or indirectly, through design and execution
You might also have...
- Knowledge of CI/CD technologies like GitHub Actions and Jenkins
- Experience in identity standards like OAuth and OpenID
- Experience in JavaScript and Python
