What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Department Order Picker/Packer position at Gold Medal Products Co?
For almost 90 years, Gold Medal has been a leader in the concession industry for both equipment and supplies including popcorn, cotton candy, Sno-Kones and much more.
Due to our continue growth, we are looking for an Order picker/packer to join our Part Department Team.
Parts Department Picker/Packer
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stage all materials in production area for production schedules
- Following established methods and procedures must be able to perform, but not limited to the following operations necessary for picking parts and delivering them to the correct department.
- Pick parts orders from computer generated invoices
- Knowledge of general warehouse operation and experience picking orders
- Use and be familiar with Powered Industrial Trucks (stand-up, reach truck, cherry picker)
- Complete tasks as directed by line leaders, supervisors, and manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school education preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent safety record
- Excellent Attendance
Essential Physical Functions:
- Able to lift 60 lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, bend and reach
- Work performed in a fast paced, shop environment

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Cincinnati, OH 45241: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

- Warehouse Pickers & Packers: 1 year (Preferred)
