Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist Project Manager with daily tasks
- Set up and maintain job folders: hard copies and electronically
- Type proposals
- Attend jobsite meetings and record meeting minutes
- Subcontract administration
- Collect, review and process: Submittals, RFI’s, Change Order Requests and Billings
- Project plan distribution
- Prepare spreadsheets and reports as requested
- Coordinate efforts across entire project between, superintendents and team, architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Request, collect and electronically file progress photos and project dailies from Superintendents
- Create weekly Job Status Reports and distribute
- Collect all close out documents from Subcontractors to create O&M Manuals to be submitted to Client at the end of every project
- Generate, maintain and update punch lists
- Maintain Project Manager’s calendar
- Make travel arrangements
- Assist with answering phones
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a positive “can do” attitude
- Assist other Team Members as needed
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in assistant project management within construction
- Comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer software
- Knowledge of Procore and Foundation is a plus
- Familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and condition
- Team player, proactive, anticipate the Project Manager & Superintendent’s needs, ability to remain calm under pressure, accountable, have good time management skills, multi tasker, punctual
- Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture is a plus, but NOT required
