What are the responsibilities and job description for the Casino Host position at Golden Eagle Casino?
- The Casino Host is responsible for providing personal attention to guests and ensuring the quality of service provided to the guest, in accordance with the Golden Eagle Casino’s established marketing strategy.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acts as a resource for guests, management and team members to ensure a maximum level of satisfaction and service throughout the Marketing Department as well as the Golden Eagle Casino.
- Develops and sustains working relationship with all guests, particularly high-end players.
- Seeks new and targeted players to inform them of benefits of all player events.
- Track and monitor guest feedback and participation to determine program effectiveness. Identify registered players and prospective players.
- Captures and cultivates new gaming guests by establishing and actively pursuing their business.
- Develops profiles on each rated player to ensure all team members of Marketing know the rated players and how to serve them.
- Establish a personal relationship with each player by keeping in touch by phone and letter on a regular on-going basis.
- Must have flexibility in schedule to be present at all VIP and Concert functions.
- Acknowledge and recognize guests who have no interest in obtaining a Players Club card but have the type of play that would qualify the guest for VIP status.
- Maintain a positive image when off duty to protect the integrity and reputation of the Golden Eagle Casino.
General Qualifications:
- Prior gaming player development experience preferred.
- Experience in convincing individuals with disposable income to spend extensively on their visits.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in hospitality, sales, marketing, promotions or public relations.
Education and Experience:
- College degree or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of player tracking system a plus.
