Essential Functions And Responsibilities:
- Perform and assist in the execution of daily drop and count procedures in accordance with Nevada Gaming Control Board regulations and internal controls.
- Serve as a resource to Count Team Attendants by answering questions, offering guidance, and supporting training of new team members.
- Monitor assigned count processes for accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Review documentation, ensure proper reconciliation, and report discrepancies to the Supervisor or Manager.
- Support the security and proper operation of all count room equipment and submit work orders when maintenance is needed.
- Assist with preparation and organization of documentation required for audit and reporting.
- Communicate and coordinate with Cage, Finance, and Security teams to ensure seamless execution of count procedures.
- Step in to perform any count function as needed to maintain timelines and support the team.
- Promote a clean, organized, and secure count room environment.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
- Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a count room or cash handling environment.
- Familiarity with drop and count procedures and internal control standards.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring count room procedures and internal controls.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to identify and address operational variances.
- Familiarity with count-related systems such as CDS, Oasis, CMS, or similar platforms
- At least 21 Years of Age
- Solid mathematical ability with proficiency in decimals, fractions, and percentages.
- Proficiency in count related systems such as Konami Synkros or similar platforms.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
- Verify right to work in the United States
- Nevada Gaming Registration
- Frequently/pull up to 50lbs.
- Frequently lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
- Regularly Squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
