Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director to lead our organization in achieving its mission and goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of program management, particularly in the fields of social work and behavioral health. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage resources, develop programs, and foster relationships with stakeholders to enhance service delivery for individuals with developmental disabilities. Must possess the spirit of service to our community.

Duties

• Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs aimed at supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to promote professional growth and effective performance.
• Develop and manage budgets for various programs, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.
• Foster relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funding sources to enhance program visibility and support.
• Lead program development initiatives that align with the organization's mission and meet the needs of the community.
• Conduct regular assessments of program effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.
• Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and events to advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Work, Mental Health or related field; Nursing, Psychology, Human Services, Education, Counseling, Public Administration etc.
• Completion of Florida’s 40-hour DCF Child Care Training
• Pass or currently have a Level 2 FBI/FDLE background screening clearance with fingerprinting
• Hold a valid Infant, Child, and Adult CPR & First Aid certification
• Trauma Informed Care Certifications and Training is a PLUS
• Proven experience in program management within social work or behavioral health settings.
• Strong administrative skills with a focus on budgeting and resource allocation.
• Demonstrated ability in relationship management, fostering collaboration among diverse groups.
• Experience supervising teams, with a commitment to staff development and mentorship.
• Knowledge of best practices in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with various audiences.
• A strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
