Golden Rain Foundation, located within the Leisure World Seal Beach community, is looking for a seasoned professional with experience in property management (HOA) and/or Country Club setting to serve as our Executive Director. If your experience includes retirement community management, property management, municipality management, keep reading. Job Duties:
The Executive Director is the senior ranking employee of the Golden Rain Foundation. Working under the GRF Board of Directors, the Executive Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership in establishing short and long-range goals, strategies, and policies to ensure that Leisure World Seal Beach remains a world-class adult community. The Executive Director is responsible for providing leadership and direction to all Foundation management personnel.
Position Requirements:
- Knowledge of the Davis-Stirling Common Interest Development Act, as amended, and community association rules and regulations.
- An energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individual with high ethical standards and an appropriate professional image.
- Possesses sound business skills, analytical abilities, good judgment, and strong operational focus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A sound negotiator who is experienced in contracts.
- Experience working with senior (55 ) populations.
- California Association of Community Managers Certification or equivalent
- Strong customer service skills.
- In-depth knowledge of budgets; creating, managing and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge and ability to meet state regulations, health laws and OSHA regulations.
- Strong management and supervising experience, including hiring, training, and coaching and counseling.
- Strong ability to organize, plan, coordinate and execute the operations of the community including strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership, and coaching techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to actively foster and cultivate a team and community culture.
- Able to exhibit strong business judgment and have strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
