A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A STRUCTURE CABLING / LOW VOLTAGE INSTALLER
As an installer, you represent our brand as you perform onsite installations. You are a team in setting up and configuring AV equipment, including LCDs, projectors, video conferencing systems, AV racks, and cabling. Troubleshooting is one of your specialties and you use those skills to solve technical issues involving the performance of audiovisual equipment. You perform cable drops, wiring, and wiring terminations as well as load and change controller software. Your creative side comes out as you assist with the design and planning of audiovisual solutions. You get the opportunity to develop your skills by earning various manufacturer certifications. You enjoy expanding your leadership skills and knowledge of all things audiovisual!
STRUCTURE CABLING / LOW VOLTAGE INSTALLER QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of related technology and installation experience
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with heights
