What are the responsibilities and job description for the C.R.N.A. position at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare?
Responsibilities include selecting and administering anesthesia to adult and pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room, outside the operating room, and in the obstetric department. Expectations will be consistent with the current scope of practice for CRNAs at GVMH including airway management, designated procedures, complete history and pertinent physical exams, and administering anesthesia in a full-service anesthesia department in accordance with hospital policy and procedures. Excellent attitude and personal skills.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS, LICENSES, and CERTIFICATIONS:
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program
Current Missouri RN license in good standing
Board certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current PALS certification
DESIRED:
General, regional and neuraxial anesthesia experience. Adult, geriatric and pediatric experience. Experience working unsupervised in an autonomous environment.
Full-time Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:00pm and equally divided call time outside these hours, holidays, and weekends.
