We are looking for a very experienced and talented Designer to undertake various design projects. Responsibilities will include design from conceptual development and liaising with the sales and production team to managing and executing the design.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake design projects from concept to completion
- Define project requirements and design schedule during the “brief”
- Interpret and translate client needs into rough plans
- Create layouts and elevations for each work area
- Research and decide on materials and products sourcing
- Assist clients with shopping and showroom visits
- Produce “sample” and “mood boards”
- Create 3D Renderings
- Work closely with internal teams
- Collecting invoices and creating a design job folder for the team
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of design experience required
- Local to the Bay Area and reliable transportation
- Project Based Salary
- Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces
- Expertise in layout, color, lighting, materials selection, and installations
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Illustrator, Revit, or other design programs
- Excellent portfolio of previous works
- Creative talent, imagination, and an eye for design
- Detail-oriented
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Project management skills
- Experience working with General Contractors (Not Required)
- Reliable transportation for site visits and client meetings
- Ability to work Monday - Friday, and Sundays if needed
- Project-based (not hourly) pay schedule, to be determined
- Ability to drive between meetings, showrooms, office and client meetings
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
