Job Description, outline of duties, and expectations of Warehouse

Description:

Physical processing of all inventory, receiving, stocking, transferring & organizing.

 Outline of Duties:

• Stocking shelves from back stock in warehouse
• Complete transfers of merchandise, sort and place items on racks, or bin location that is assigned.
• Complete all stocking in a timely manner to ensure production workflow.
• Processing outgoing freight shipments
• Unloading trucks for freight shipments
• Receiving & Processing incoming shipments, matching purchase orders to physical product, labeling accurately using ERP and distributing as needed once received.
• Assign bin locations where none are present or reassignment where necessary.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory and keep quality standards high for audits.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; sweep, dust and mop daily when needed.
• Organize warehouse and receiving work area for lean practices at all times, including cardboard destruction.
• Notify supervisor of any low quantity resources and supplies needed for production of department.
• Quality check every item that comes through department.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.

• This position requires accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.
• Ability to lift heavy objects; regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs, team lift and/or move objects weighing more than 100lbs.
• Ability to stand for long period of time, climb up ladder.
• Ability to operate hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
• Intermediate computer literacy
• Forklift experience – unable to operate forklift until certified by Golfballs.com.
• Keep all work areas clean.
• Be punctual for your shift.
• Know your surroundings and flow of department for best safety practices.
• Meet goals/tasks assigned within the department.
• Pay attention to detail.

• Punch in and out daily including punching out for one-half hour lunch.
• No personal devices, earbuds, texting or calls allowed on floor except for emergencies.
• Attends work as scheduled by manager.
• Check work schedule weekly communicating availability with manager in a timely manner prior to scheduling.
• Make arrangements with a coworker to cover your shift when unable to work your shift as scheduled.
• Provide manager with at least an hour notice when not able to attend work as scheduled informing your manager of the arrangements made for coverage.
• Make requests for time off in a timely manner. 
• Must be able to function within a team working environment.
• Dispose of garbage daily according to company policies
• Able to work weekends if needed to meet company goals.
