This position maintains the County's parks and public spaces from a grounds management perspective while safely utilizing all necessary machinery and equipment.

- Performs turf maintenance and general landscaping services for County and public spaces by using riding and push lawn mowers and weed-eaters.
- Performs leaf and snow removal as necessary using rakes, shovels, leaf and snow blowers.
- Provides special event and programmatic support for the Department.
- Operates and maintains equipment.
- Provides support maintenance work for all County facilities.
- Performs other assigned duties.

- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Or equivalent training, education, and/or experience; and
- Valid State of Virginia Driver’s License with a driving record that meets HR Policy requirements.
- CDL and registration as a Commercial Pesticide Applicator is preferred.
