The Seasonal LPN/RN - Immunization Clinic Specialist will provide immunizations at our upcoming long-term care/assisted living community vaccine clinics this fall (July-Nov). They will be responsible for daily operations management and coordination of care, communication, and processes between various team members at the pharmacy and on-site staff at the communities we serve. Travel to hosting clinics within the Denver area, southern and northern Colorado is required, and a company vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures the smooth operation and organization of the vaccine clinic, aligning with Good Day Pharmacy's mission and strategic goals.
- Manages daily activities during the vaccine clinic, including on-site execution and administering flu, pneumonia, shingrix, and COVID vaccines to numerous residents and staff (when applicable).
- Supports and maintains strong relationships with Good Day Pharmacy's long-term care accounts and site staff.
- Regularly assesses patients' needs and develops, implements, and revises individual care plans accordingly.
- Provides exceptional patient care, addressing concerns, and resolving issues professionally.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and standards of practice for pharmacy operations and vaccine clinics.
- Maintains accurate records and ensures high-quality documentation to fulfill legal and business requirements.
- Adheres to payer contract standards and supports best practices to address any future pharmacy audits related to immunization clinics.
- Participates in quality assurance initiatives to improve patient care and continuity.
- Applies knowledge of rules, regulations, and standards to ensure compliance and uphold quality standards for patients.
- Represents Good Day Pharmacy professionally, fostering strong rapport with site staff and partners.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including follow-up after vaccine clinics to ensure proper documentation and completion of all necessary paperwork.
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Licenses Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN). One of those years must consist of full-time experience in providing direct patient care in long term care setting.
- Current CPR certification.
- Vaccination Certification.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation and agency required liability insurance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed practical nurse (LPN): associate degree or diploma.
- More than one (1) year supervisory/management experience in long-term care.
- MTM experience preferred.
- More or more years’ experience working in a long-term care facility.

Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
