Dog Groomer

Good Dog is an established pet care company offering daycare/boarding/walking services at our Pearl facility in north downtown San Antonio. We are so excited to launch full service grooming and are looking for an experienced groomer to join the team!

Duties:

- Provide professional pet grooming services to clients' pets, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling according to breed standards or client preferences.
- Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other services as part of the grooming process.
- Assess and communicate any health or behavior concerns to manager.
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of tools and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service when needed. Front desk staff will handle most phone calls, scheduling, check ins & check outs, however some situations may require customer interaction.
- Assist with kennel duties (in the holding and drying room), such as cleaning up after pets when necessary.
- Ability to groom up to 8 dogs daily.

Skills:

- Proven experience as a pet groomer.
- Knowledge of different breeds and their specific grooming requirements.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
- Ability to handle pets with care and compassion, ensuring their safety throughout the grooming process.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy lifting.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

We are open Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-5pm in our new space.

Weekly pay; 50% commission plus 100% tips!
