What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grocery Stocker/Clerk position at Good Harvest Market?
Good Harvest Market, Waukesha County's largest independently owned natural and organic grocer, is currently seeking to hire a part-time Grocery Stocker Clerk. The hours provided would be mostly set, with some need for flexibility as needed.
The hours we need to fill with this role are Mon, Tues, Thurs, and Fri from 3p/4p to 8pm. As this role closes the department, after training is complete the employee in this role will work independently so it is important that whoever we hire is capable of being self-motivated and can stay focused on the tasks of the job as expected without much guidance.
Our grocery department provides a full range of products with a focus on organics, local sourcing, and sustainability.

Duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Stocking and facing inventory
- Cleaning the department
- Safe operation of the corrugated cardboard baler (only for stockers who are 18 years old)
- Safe handling of pallets and pallet jacks
Qualifications and Skills
Candidates we will consider must meet the following qualifications:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

Physical Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand for 4 hours at a time
Environmental/Physical Conditions:
- Constant walking, squatting, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting.
- Temperatures of environment will vary (working walk-in and reach-in freezers and refrigeration units for extended time periods)
