Summary
The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Nursing Assistant Course Work
Licenses,Certifications and/or Registrations
- Nursing Assistant Certification
- Basic Life Support
Experience
Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.
