What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Care Tech PCU Per Diem Days position at Good Samaritan Medical Center?
POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Care Tech. assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and serves as a clinical preceptor to Nursing Assistants & PCT’s and is cross-trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications
Education
- • Nursing Assistant Course Work, High School Diploma or Equivalent
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations
- Nursing Assistant Certification
- • Basic Life Support
Minimum Experience
Certified Medical Assistant or 1 year CNA experience.
