We are seeking a Certified Medication Assistant to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with basic health care needs including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psycho-social support and other personal care to assigned residents.
- Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within their scope of practice as defined by state regulations.
- Document the outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate changing conditions, medication follow-up and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a minimum age of 18, and prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care. They will also be required to maintain all department-specific required certifications and complete yearly department-specific competency testing.
Salary : $18,000 - $28,000
