Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Good Samaritan. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist residents with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining and recording vital signs, and providing psychosocial support.
- Complete tasks related to food preparation and dining, while creating a positive dining experience for residents.
- Assist residents with meals and snacks, provide water and supplements as appropriate.
- Document resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
