Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
- Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and age-specific standards related to physical and psychosocial needs of residents.
- Evaluate resident status through testing and provide necessary care.
- Ensure health, comfort, and safety of residents.
- Contribute to assessment of residents and administer medications as ordered.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board.
- Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements.
