POSITION SUMMARY: Our acre Winrock Town Center that includes a two-acre park with a waterfall and large pond will be a horticultural masterpiece. We are looking for an individual to help maintain this magnificent property. We are seeking a knowledgeable individual with commercial outdoors cleaning to help maintain and clean all common areas.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: NOTE: Goodman Realty Group may unilaterally change the requirements of this job description at any time. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. These include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units, air handlers, chillers, and split systems.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure HVAC systems are running efficiently.
  • Repair or replace defective components in HVAC systems (e.g, motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats).
  • Monitor and test systems for proper operation, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, wiring, diagrams, and technical specifications.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with building tenants or clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and submit reports as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and practices, including lockout/tagout procedures, PPE, and safe handling of refrigerants and chemicals.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff or subcontractors as needed for larger projects or complex repairs.
  • Stay updated on new HVAC technology and industry best practices.

Schedule may vary and you should be available to work weekends.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • HVAC certification (EPA Universal Certification is required).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working with commercial HVAC systems.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical components, and airflow systems.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and energy management controls.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work in a variety of environments, including on rooftops or in confined spaces.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with large-scale commercial projects or multi-site facilities.
  • Knowledge of energy-efficient HVAC solutions and green building practices.
  • Experience with refrigerant management and compliance with EPA regulations.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • This position requires frequent manual dexterity in combination with eye/hand coordination such as handling of equipment.
  • Will have repetitive hand motions and prolonged periods of standing.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually medium to high.
  • 90% of work is performed outdoors, exposure to the elements including heat, cold, rain, wind and other weather conditions.
