What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vocational Rehabilitation Program Manager position at Goodwill Industries - Big Bend, Inc.?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work effectively as a part of Goodwill’s Mission Services Department leadership team to assess needs, develop strategy and collaborate as a part of the Management Team for alignment of objectives across the department.
- Lead and supervise a team of professionals working as Employment Specialists or Job Coaches.
- Actively works to ensure full cohorts of referrals for vocational rehabilitation caseloads including developing and maintaining relationships with referring agencies and attracting new participants.
- Maintain highest quality services while ensuring compliance with CARF Accreditation and meeting/exceeding funder / referral requirements.
- Develop and submit accurate, reliable and timely performance data regarding services delivered.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, as well as compliance with Goodwill and Mission Services policies and procedures.
- Ensure good business practices and financial responsibility.
- Promote the Goodwill brand within its varied geographical communities to enhance public awareness, understanding and support of our mission.
- Pursue increased automation of data and financial reporting.
- Increase revenue streams such as Ticket to Work and Vocational Rehabilitation in Georgia and Florida.
- Assist Vice President of Mission Services in obtaining funding and expansion of revenue streams.
- Ensure that the provision of services is consistent with Mission Service’s annual goals in terms of number of persons served, number of people placed into jobs and revenue generation.
- Track all services provided by managing centralized Mission Services database.
- Ensures REBA system referral and benchmark reports are submitted to DVR accurately and timely.
- Continually monitor program outcomes to ensure quality services.
- Deliver on all commitments to employers and partners by enabling a unified and aligned coordination between Mission Services teams.
- At times may also: perform intake interviews/assessments; initiate files; provide orientation; and other services directly with the participant
- Promotes an environment of cooperation and support where creativity and innovation are encouraged for participants, employees, co-workers, community partners, and other stakeholders and customers.
- Uses self-initiative in gaining new skills and improving weak areas.
- Demonstrates creativity finding new and better ways of doing things and proposes ideas. Provides feedback as requested on processes and programs.
- Consistently meets deadlines.
- Assures that corrective action is taken on all reviewed cases.
- Interacts and coordinates with representatives of external agencies and organizations on behalf of the person served and to maximize level and timeliness of appropriate referrals, supports, customer service and reporting.
- Promotes participation of the person served in all aspects of the service design and delivery by utilizing participant satisfaction data and continuous plan refinement.
