Depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
Role and Responsibilities:
- Adheres to the assigned work schedule and punctuality are an essential function of the job.
- Recruit, select, develop, evaluate, and counsel Logistics employees. Terminate employees in accordance with Goodwill policies and in coordination with the Manager, Logistics.
- Direct, supervise and coordinate staff activities to ensure departmental goals, budgets and objectives are met.
- Responsible for excellent customer service in pick-up and delivery service for stores and ADCs.
- Responsible for the overall conduct of training for the Transportation Drivers in accordance with the Manager, Logistics guidance.
- Maintain a professional work environment and appropriate standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization of both fleet and warehouse operations.
- Manage all transportation staff and fleet requirements to include maintenance, repairs, licensing, and inspections.
- Recommend adjustments to staffing and fleet including budget impacts to the Manager, Logistics.
- Provide leadership, guidance and professional development for Logistics team and models expected behavior of the staff. Utilizes participatory management.
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented relationship with management, peers and subordinates and encourage interactions between all departments.
- Maintain good communication and positive team atmosphere with staff, peers and other departments.
- Report all accidents or incidents to the Manager, Logistics immediately.
- Provides excellent customer service to all departments.
- Attends all mandatory meetings and training requirements.
- Complies with all safety rules, standards and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has supervisory/management responsibilities over the Dispatchers, Drivers, and Logistics Supervisor.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse logistics or similar field.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must have excellent analytical, creative, and flexible problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Must be able to understand work instructions in English.
- Valid Driver License and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel locally between North and South warehouses.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to airborne particles.
