POSITION SUMMARY:

Material Handlers are responsible for working in a fast-paced distribution center. Material Handlers will process, sort and bale merchandise.

COMPENSATION:

Depending on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate pallet jack, dock cart, down-stroke and horizontal baling machine, tippers, and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
• Load baling machines, tippers, and roll-offs safely and expeditiously.
• Sort a variety of commodities accurately based on current operations.
• Palletize televisions, furniture, and other large items in accordance with company procedure.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation; must be able to stand for up to 10 hours at a time.
• Must be able to follow directions well and communicate effectively in English.
